The Discreet Bookshelf is made from:

– powder-coated metal in a mottled gunmetal colour finish,

-Mindi wood in a distressed grey wash stain finish,

– mixed hardwood timbers sourced from decommissioned fishing vessels on the northern coastline of Java Indonesia.

The Bookshelf has four shelf tiers at irregular heights to allow tall decor items or books and a narrow shelf for paperbacks. The middle shelf has a gap to display a vase with flowers or a tall decor item. The design is refined industrial providing a sleek overtone. Knots, burrs, bolt and nail holes and paint remnants of the brightly painted boat hulls may be noticeable on the mixed hardwood.
